so yesterday was quite fun.
we had our performance at the NUS guild house for the SEA ceromony. i had loads of fun.
i didn't take any pics with my phone cos of its suckish quality, but yingshan said she'll send me the pics that we took with her camera.
so basically, here's a recap of what happened.

i reached plaza at around 9.25. it was super early, cos i was supposed to meet the others at 10. so i went to buy famous amos cookies and starbucks.
then i met shiyun and liping at around 9.30 outside macs. shiyun said that she wanted to go buy smth, so she asked me and liping to wait outside macs so anyone that comes can see that we were there. but liping and i went to ntuc to buy sweets and stuff.
then we met the others outside macs, and we walked to school and reached there late, cos before that they went to eat brunch at kopitiam.
but shiyun and yingshan sorta like ran, and they reached a little earlier than us (me, siewfang, liping, and tzeyee). so we went to the dance studio but the malay dancers were there. then we went to the hall, but also no one was there. but the npcc(or is it ncc?) guys were at the parade square, marching or smth.
finally, liping called shiyun, and they said they were at the auditorium. we went there and practised for awhile. two times of the dance, actually. then we became VERY exhausted, idk why, but its probably due to the air-con in the auditorium, which was not on cos we didn't know where the switch was.
then the npcc guys came in and wanted to use the stage. we practised a few more times before letting them use. by then, the choir(who knew our school had one?) also came in cos they also wanted to practice. then we let the guys use the stage, and they were dancing the "poker face" or smth. it was HILARIOUS. then siewfang and i made our own version of the npcc style dancing to "poker face". by then it was about 12+ so we had to go the foyer to wait for the buses to take us to NUS.
when we reached the i was SHOCKED. who knew that the university was so grand? seriously, it looked like a hotel. we were brought to a room upstairs to do our makeup and stuff(dressing room), so basically all the performers squeezed in that room, which was about the size of an average classroom.
we took about two hours to do our makeup and change into our costumes. then we went down to the guild hall for rehearsal. the guild hall isn't as plain as it sounds. it looked like a freaking wedding dinner room. there were like 30 tables, 10 people each. unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures of it.
so the choir went first. then guzheng, then malay dance , then us. after us was the indian dance, which only consisted of two people, then lastly the percussion group, aka band.
then we went back to the dressing room to rest and take early dinner. then we went to explore. they had a casino there. and a karaoke room. and massage chairs. and foot massages. i was like WTFFFFFFFFFFF?
then around 6.30(?) we went to stand at the ledge and stared at the people walking in and out of the lobby. and we saw the VIP coming in. and we sort of waited there until they called us to get ready downstairs. then we waited just outside the lobby. finally we performed.
after we finished dancing, things were quite hectic, due to changes. yuting had to stay at the hall cos she had to take her prize. shiyun also but she had to help the teachers give out the prizes. so the other 6 of us cleared up, removed our costumes and makeup. and we took a very long time to do it. i think we were the last group to leave, and we made everyone wait for us.

so i guess that's all. i think i took half an hour to write this out. i know i was quite vague on the details at around the end, cos i didn't feel like writing anymore.
