peace & tranquility

location : opposite you
mood : happy
listening : Once by Diana Vickers
i am in LOVE with this song.
it is currently on repeat.
it has become my obsession again.
i wanna go to britain now and speak with a british accent.
so, life at school has been very relaxing recently. the sec 1s have gone for their annual camp. the sec 3s are away overseas for their camp-cum-CIP. the canteen is very very peaceful during recess. and i love the "quietness". i feel as if i am living in a stress-free world now - free from worries.
the school has planned activities for us these three days - 24/5 to 26/5. i can't keep wondering whether or not if these activities are planned to "make up" for not bringing us to our annual camp. well, in my opinion, camp is so much better than these courses. so these is what i have been/will be doing during these three days
24/5 (yesterday)
sexuality education - 8.30am to 10am
break - 10am to 10.30am
A-math class - 10.30am to 12pm
IPW presentation - 12pm to 1.30pm
25/5 (today)
science innovation - 8.30am to 10am
break - 10am to 10.30pm
science innovation - 10.30pm to 1.30 pm
26/5 (tomorrow)
leadership workshop - 8am to 10am
break - 10am to 10.30am
leadership workshop - 10.30am to 1.30pm
i know. it's boring. but i have to admit it is a little fun. no planned lessons. no need to bring any heavy books to school. yesterday's sex talk was kinda fast. i thought we will have to listen to "abstinence" for the whole 1 1/2 hour. but surprisingly, it was not boring. i'm too lazy to explain the whole thing, so i'm gonna move on to the next thing we did yesterday. so after the break, we went to learn some A-maths. we went to the lab and drew shapes on some software. we also learnt how to do a kaleidoscope thingy and the teacher said that mine looked gorgeous. so that's probably the reason i didn't say that the class sucked. then we did our IPW presentations. lazy to elaborate on that too. i'm just gonna say that i think my group had the best presentation cos everything was well prepared and we were the only group that had like, 25 slides. hell, ours was THE BEST. i even typed out a script! i'm so gonna kill my teacher if we didn't get high marks. i spent my whole weekend doing it. notice how much of a nerd i am.
so we had the science innovation workshop today. when i looked at the schedule, i was like "what the hell? a whole day of science?" and i was totally hating it. but, surprisingly, it turned out quite okay, nothing like what i expected, which was a whole bunch of notes and colourless powerpoint slides. instead, we were given a kit where you could build your own electrical circuits and stuff, cos we were learning about electricity and energy. basically, all my group did was to play with the kit and make all kinds of weird circuits instead of listening to the instructors. i'm so glad we didn't electrocute ourselves. we had a little competition at the end of the course where each group had to be as innovative as possible and make a circuit that is useful in everyday life. i'm not really sure what the theme was, but the three of us just randomly put stuff together and made an "entertainment machine thingy". there was no name cos they didn't tell us to name it. we also had to make it into a story, like to make a story about how someone uses it. the story's pretty ridiculous, and i'm too lazy to type it all out anyway, so if you really want to know then maybe you could ask me personally or something.
wow, i didn't expect this post to be so long. i think tomorrow's gonna be interesting too, so maybe if i feel like posting tomorrow then i could tell you about it
bye :D
